Technical Customer Service Coordinator



Serve as the principle liaison with our Customers through calling, email and face to face interaction. The primary responsibility would be to continue the development of outbound customer contact relationship building, basic administrative and accounting duties, and working with our internal team to further the success of ZiPline Conveyor and Bastian Solutions. Sell and market spare parts and services, work with the Project Management and Engineering teams on supporting any ongoing project and project lifecycle needs, and the support of RGA and warranty parts our customers have.  

Superior Performance Objectives:

  • Follow orders through the ordering process. (PO, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Payment)
  • High quality and volume of administrative functions – bookkeeping, travel, filing, etc.
  • Work with Service Manager on planning and execution of service related task (service projects, warranty issues, and 24 hour support)
  • Provide professional quotes in a timely manner.  Fill out sales orders completely, both product and pricing information
  • Follow up on past due accounts
  • Positive attitude and very helpful to our internal and external customers.
  • Dispatch incoming critical customer support calls and general call routing    


  • Minimum Associates degree or equivalent experience in previous performed responsibilities
  • Technical mind
  • Fundamental understanding of business processes: Purchase Orders, Invoicing
  • Strong computer skills with: MS office, service programming software, and accounting packages.  Should be very comfortable about "diving into the details".
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

General Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming calls and route those calls to appropriate person
  • Greeting and directing visitors to our office, be the face of Bastian.
  • Provides administrative assistance to Managers as needed, including travel arrangements.
  • Support filing of project and administrative files
  • Back-up of Purchasing and Accounts Payable personnel for periods of heavy volume, and / or absences – planned or unplanned.
  • Track incoming orders through to fulfillment/booking, ensure timely activation of order as project or sales order.
  • Quoting and complete follow-through of spare parts and replacement parts orders.
  • Projects as assigned by the management team.
  • Develop strong relationships with our customers through timely, regular phone calls
  • Identify and log key customer stakeholders (decision makers)
  • Create and conduct Customer Surveys with key contacts
  • Master product information through training and personal efforts
  • Assisting in the quoting process for service projects
  • Maintain Microsoft AX customer database information
  • Timely completion of assigned tasks.
