Bastian Software Solutions is looking to add to our QA team here in Louisville, KY. We currently looking for individuals with strong troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail. Individuals would have a strong technical aptitude and also a willingness to learn.


As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will be ensuring the excellence of our proprietary Exacta software. Your role is integral in performing integrated testing for existing, modified, or custom software to be implemented for our clients. You will prepare complete test plans, as well as conducting quality, stress, regression and load tests for programs we developed.


Job Responsibilities:
• As a QA Analyst, you will perform complete validation; ensuring that all software modules meet functional specifications, design documents, and end user requirements.
• Implementing standard operating procedures where appropriate; developing robust and flexible testing procedures; creating Quality Assurance test plans for all projects and work with Information Analysts
• Working with Developers to understand the development process, architecture, and platform for the Exacta package
• Understanding the bug tracking process throughout our development cycle; demonstrating attention to details in identifying issues with the Exacta product enhancement
• Write and execute all test plans; clearly communicating bugs and working with other team members to close the loop on open issues.
• Use Hyper-V to create and maintain working test environments that allow team to cover all aspects of every project
• Participating actively in corporate strategic plans and objectives; ensuring quality and timely releases
• Providing customer support to troubleshoot problems and remotely fix issues in the field; maintaining test cases and bugs in MS Team Foundation Server for metric tracking

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of experiences in a quality assurance or another related technical role
• Strong quality control and computer skills including ability to manually deploy and test software
• Experience with technical tools including MS Visual Studio/ Team Foundation Server, MS Office, Hyper-V or VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Ability to travel up to 25%, within the United States and internationally
