Business Development will be your focus, as you will be meeting and building strong relationships with the industrial clients in (Manufacturing, Food/Beverage, Distribution, etc.) and providing them with exceptional robotics, material handling, and automation solutions to meet their needs. The engineered solutions require an excellent understanding of material flow, information flow, and general business processes.

Job Responsibilities

As an Application Engineer with a background in Engineering, you will be developing an in depth knowledge and understanding of the customers products and industry to exploit every available opportunity for business development.
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Establishing strong relationships with customer base at all levels; understanding their business strategy, and our opportunity to participate
  • Interfacing with customers to determine technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations
  • Working closely with Sales Coordinators to provide product and pricing information
  • Proposing and agreeing on revenue goals and budgets; increasing sales, market share, and ensuring contract fulfillment to achieve or exceed budget
  • Targeting key design-in opportunities and tailoring our value proposition to establish differentiation, plus sustainable advantage
  • Entering sales calls and updating company CRM
  • Networking with business contacts in the industry (i.e. professional organizations, specialty equipment providers, distributors, service organizations, governments, business resources, etc.)

 
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; preferred disciple (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering)
  • Technical Sales experience in the industrial sector, a plus
  • Experience in Material Handling, a plus
  • CAD experience (AutoCad), a plus
